21.12.2011 – Wednesday, day 2Woke up bright and early this morning and headed out to tick off some typical tourist stuff… London Eye CHECK, London Dungeon CHECK, Oxford Street HALF CHECK! Actually I gave up on Oxford Street after about ¼ of the way down as it was after 4pm and the streets were crazy busy with people walking head on into each other.
Had a bit of a chuckle whilst at the London Dungeon and as corny as it was it’s something that as a tourist in this city you just gotta do. It’s like a bigger version of the ghost train from the royal show but only seen through the eyes of infamous London horror stories like the plague & Jack the Ripper. Got some cheesy pictures taken in there that were a good laugh!
My feet are in much need of some decent rest after being on them for 8 hours, and I am almost getting the hang of the Tube system.
Off to the pub at our hotel tonight for tea and watch a game of football (aka Soccer!).
looks like you guys are having the time of your lives, Im so happy your enjoying your holiday. Make the most of it because it goes way toooooo fast.... love and miss you both so much xxxxx
